Credit Ratings are sourced from Standard & Poor’s, Moody’s Investors Service, Fitch Ratings Ltd, and Rating and Investment Information, Inc.
Update Protocols
Market Watch rate and price data gathered from Reuters and local sources are updated after the closing figures for the day become available on a 24x7 basis.
Updates of data published once daily are posted as soon as practical following their release.
Economic indicators and credit ratings are updated shortly following release.
When collecting Market Watch data, zero prices are discarded, but no reasonableness, tolerance, or variance monitoring is performed on any rate, price or data item. Please notify AsianBondsOnline through our Feedback facility of any grossly inaccurate Market Watch data, and we will make all reasonable attempts to correct the data.

Government Bonds
Definitions
- Latest Yield = latest available yield to maturity.
- Tenor = time to maturity.
- bp Change = the difference of the latest quoted yield and previous available closing yield in basis points, where 1% of yield equals 100 bp.

- For more information regarding the price and yield calculations used in each market, please refer to Market Activities>Street Conventions>Calculations.
- Closing yields for some bonds such as the Viet Nam 5-year Government Bond are only published on the day following trade.
- EF Note = Exchange Funded Notes.
- T-Bond = Treasury Bond; T-Bill = Treasury Bill
- There is yet no secondary market for Myanmar T-Bonds, thus Market Watch data is unavailable. For information on these bonds, please refer to Myanmar Market Pages.
Currencies
Definitions
- Latest Rate = latest available bid spot rates.
- % Change = percent change over previous available closing rate.
Additional Notes
- For all currency pairs: a positive change direction
indicates that the first currency has appreciated against the second currency, i.e., its price has fallen. Conversely, negative change direction indicates that the first currency has depreciated against the second currency, i.e. its price has risen.
Commodities
Definitions
- Latest Price = latest available bid spot delivery, except Rubber (bid current month delivery).
- % Change = percent change over previous available closing rate.
Stock Indices
Definitions
- Latest Value = latest available exchange quoted price.
- Change = latest available value minus previous available closing value.
Interest Rates
Definitions
- Rate = latest available published rate.
- Change = latest rate minus previous available closing rate.
Additional Notes
- Closing rates for some interest rates such as the Brunei Prime Lending Rate are only published on the day following trade.

- Ratings = assigned long-term foreign currency rating.
